Gangotri College is a co-educational institution and conducts Humanities, Arts and Commerce courses at the undergraduate level. There are presently around 2200 students on the rolls of the College. 'Gangotri College is the master who, after reaching the furthest shores and plumbing the inmost depths of the sea of ultimate knowledge of mathematics, kinematics and spherics, handed over the three sciences to the learned world.
